Drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics (DMPK) study investigate the absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion (ADME) character of drug with a variety of technologies, which provide data for optimization of drug to acquire desirable in vivo performance, as well as predicting the ADME of drug when dosing to human.
In vitro/in vivo DMPK tools are throughout used in drug development.
